Riding to his knights, Prospero signalled the army to take battle formations.

'Give no quarter! ATTACK!'

Looking to the signalers guild on the hill he indicated his preferred targets.

As the Knights started towards the orcs at a slow trot, the warmachines took careful aim. Rockets and shells sailed over the advancing knights and plunged into the depths of Warboss Kurgans bodyguard.

Old Fergus laughed as his shot hit the mark. It was petty payback but at least it'd teach the old orc to cheat a gunner at dice.

A group of Squid hoppers leapt towards the knights, much to the dismay of Kurgan as they failed to reach the knights and effectively blocked them from view.

Sneering in Contempt Prospero's knights rode straight through them, leaving bloody smears in their wake, over-running into the waiting Black orcs and Kurgans lads.

A counter charge by kurgan's pet Fish-Troll failed to slow them as Prospero's Hammer cut a bloody swathe through the black orcs.

Elsewhere on the battlefield, a constant barrage had broken the orc advance with only a single unit capitalizing on Kurgan's Enraged Waaggh.
Morgana, infused with the bears anger, led her swordsmen into battle and after a long drawn out brawl, managed to break the orcs.

Things were not going well for Kurgan either. The combined might of the knights and Prospero's Widowmaker (an ancient artifact akin to Ghal Maraz) broke his battle line.

The Black orcs and troll were caught and killed, but alas Kurgan escaped to fight another day.

Win for naval Alliance in the Volcanic Lake. Huzzah!

Letting the ogres cross the battlefield, Prospero's army rained down hot lead on the bulky force.

Once in range, Prospero loosed his knights and they ran down a couple of units of leadbelchers, but unfortunately, some ogres broke through causing several units to make tactical withdrawls to fight another day. Obviously, no sane human would stand around waiting for blood crazed ogres to charge you.

the wizards, and prospero's knights fought a savage rearguard action, saving Roba from the depradations of the corsairs, but the disarray caused to Prospero's force meant he would be unable to consolidate his hold on Roba.

Battle for the Beach - Bay Of Wreaks

The sea mist drifted off the sea towards the Chaos Dwarf gun emplacements, visibility was down to bow range and so far they had seen nothing barring the hulking wreaks littering the bay.

One lookout spotted movement and was about to sound the alarm when a barrage of warmachine fire opened up from the waters edge. In a heartbeat, the mist vanished as the weather mages dropped their spells to allow their brethren to attack.

The Army of Prospero advanced under a barrage of warmachine fire, heavy earthshaker shells landing amidst the centre line, making the assault slow going. The whine of bullets and arrows criss-crossed the narrow stretch of sand.

The great cannon 'Old Glory' was having a much better time than the Chaos dwarf crews. Its first shot ranged an earthshaker but too much gunpowder had been packed behind the shot, causing it to sail over the short crew, straight into the Lords Pet Great-Taurus. Unfortunately it wasn't killed but it didn't look healthy any more.

Prospero lead his Knights into the centre of the dwarf line under a hail of Blunderbuss fire and Bolts. As the knights reached the Corsair emplacements Prospero swung the Widowmaker left and right weaving a bloody trail though the enemy ranks.

The Dwarves were losing badly but stayed the course in the hope that their lord and brethren would help them but to no avail. Old Glory managed to fire despite the rolling ground from the earthshaker fire. The Great Taurus Sprouted a Cannon ball where its head used to be and collapsed spouting gouts of blood into the sand, added to that, the messy demise of their wizard in the manner of a fairground attraction finally made them break.

In the confusion the Wreakers advanced to secure the area and victory.

Prospero struck once. The fey energies of the bell protected the seer.

fast being depleted by the widowmakers blows.

Prospero swung a last blow and the fey energies shattered as the seer's body
was catapulted back into the ocean.

Rejoining his knights they set about destroying the unit. Enemy units
started to get into flanking positions to counter the knights savage attack
But luckily, the demoralized skaven broke before their brethren could
capitalize on their deployment.

Chasing down the rats and casting the ruined bell into the sea, Prospero and
his knights escaped the danger.

cunning plan into action. Roba is now in the hands of the Corsairs thanks to
our allies losses over the weekend so I have pulled our troops out of that
location.

I have managed to locate a barrel of your favorite Sartosan Rum.
It is of a favorable vintage and will be sent on the next ship.

The Karlsberg Garrison was annihilated in action against some Saurus
spearmen.

Good news! The Scuttle-but and Anchor has re-opened in Senelite. Old Bess is
still running the kitchens.

Saurus cavalry overran our war machine positions and the wreakers died
trying to protect them.

I managed to kill a Rozordon. It's scale hide will make you an excellent
cloak for when you ride your dragon. I will have our servants prepare the
body for you.

Our handgunners and crossbowmen put up a brave defence but were overwhelmed
by the combined lizardman attack.

The Training camps of Monte Castello are putting out much better troops
these days. In a couple more seasons I think the survivors will be ready to
begin their military careers.

May I commend your choice in disposing of the weaker elements of our force
to stretch the corsairs thinly across Sartosa.
