Earth shaker batterys opened fire, slaying two knights, a chosen and plenty of hounds, also making the ground difficult to advance on for the elite of the chaos army. Responding to the barrage, Katgkad army began it's march into the gates of hell.
The winds of magic blew strongly in the sorcerers favour, ensuring the maws of chaos itself claimed a whole blunderbuss (i know, it sucked  )
As the chosen and the knights worked there way out uneven ground, the both the dwarves earth shakers guns jammed! With the chaos knights and chosen taking full advantage of this.
A few moments passed, and raw chaos poured out of a gate way created. Chaos dwarf wizards frantically closing the gate as it swallowed half of a chaos dwarf unit.
The nurgle sorcerer ran and joined the knights as he managed to wound an enemy sorcerer who was busy closing the rift! The left flank dwarf battle compromised as the knights closed in. But all was not lost for the dwarves!
A thunderous roar emited from behind the tree line as the Chaos dwarf leader, mounted on a great beast toasted some chosen from the rear!
After a well aimed bolt speared the last knight, chaos charges hit home slaughtering all in their path (and Katgkad runs away). The chosen turn round face the dwarf lord, issuing challanges at him. He soon charges stright after.
The wounded sorcerer looses concentration, and is engulfed in a massive flaming ball, burning him alive!
closely followed by both earth shakers misfiring again. With one detonating early, showering a small area with debry and body parts.
Warshrine and black orks charge to help their comrades stuck in a bloody melee.
On the far right, a group of marauders finally hacks through the bravest hob goblins the world has ever seen. Only to get a face full of shrapnel from the other blunderbuss unit!
The exalted hero misjudges how tall a dwarf is, and completly misses his mark. then procededs to run away as the chaos dwarves stumble after him.
In the mean time nurgle blesses his sorcerer, after he makes short work of a earth shaker gunnery crew!
The dwarf lord roars in triumph as he cuts down the last of the chosen and the warshrine, all looked in his favour!
But tzeench had other plans, a hole in tore apart reality once more as deamons itching to taste blood tore at the lord and his mount, bringing it down to one wound and wounding the dwarf atop the beast.
The game ending to a break check, rolled way under avarage 
Both army then withdrew as there was no clear victor in this battle (Jimmy won by about 24pts,  )
Good game, great opponent! (took me long enough to get round to doing this. crappy aftermath story later  )
