T4 is a bit weak can see now why its points aren’t high. Had a lovely convo about this with a friend and he explained a good way to show it wont hit people inside a transport so here goes.
As the rule for soul leach says it wont hurt vehicles we have to look away from RAW and rules as such and look at what a vehicle is and why possibly the power wont work on them, the best example is a dreadnought or walker. what is a dreadnought? its a walker with a person inside it, e.g. a sentinel has a guardsman inside it and that guardsman isn’t affected by soul leach, a space marine dreadnought or the ork version has a space marine (naked in a box without fancy armour) or ork inside it and they too are protected in some way. This in mind we look then at what an embarked unit inside a transport is, that again being orks.marines,tau etc inside a vehicle. Given this it would be safe to say that if soul leach has no effect on a guardsman sat on his own in a sentinel why would it have an effect on one sat inside the back of a tank? Both examples are the same as they are just a man (or little green man) sat behind a wall of armour, it would be silly to say one is affected while the other isn’t.
Ill leave it at that now as ive rambled on a lot on this.
